GRADE 6 COMPETITION
Sunday 03rd February 2008
Ben Smith - 1st Under 11 Boys

Danielle Wheat - 2nd Under 13 Girls

Rhiannon Staples - 3rd Under 9 Girls

Team - 3rd Under 13 Girls

On Sunday 5th February 2006 I was in the grade 6 competition, my first ever trampolining competition. I did not know what to expect, but my sister told me what to do before I left home. I was very nervous at first, but it was fun in the end.
We all had two warm-ups then one more just before we competed. Then it was the real thing, I was nervous but I concentrated on my routine, I just hoped that I had done well. At least I hadn’t fallen over. Then we had to do it all over again.
The parade was fun everyone was smiling. I was very tired afterwards but looked forward to telling Daddy that I had come 7th out of 26, but Tilly had beaten me into 6th place. I think everyone from the club who bounced had had fun and did very well.

Grade 5 - 3 Gillingham 05-06-2005
What a wicked day we had
Grade 5 : Alice competing for the second time at this Grade, perfomed both her somersaults to perfection, Alice came in 15th place. Lina recovering from injury jumped well, securing her 3rd place. Amy in her second Grade 5 event, looking a little nervous, but completed both routines well and finished 8th. Amber and Emily in a tough group of Under 15's, both jumped magnificently securing them 17th and 19th place respectively.
Grade 4 : Jaime jumped in this Grade for only the second time she performed her best routines to date, coming in at 6th place and also qualifying to Grade 3.
Grade 3 : David jumped well, completed all his routines with just a little wobble, this placed him 1st. Cathy also jumped well, even with a broken thumb!!! She was placed 2nd.
Well done guys a really positive day for us
Mid Season Synchro Cardiff 17-04-2005
Amy joined forces with Maya from the Northern Region. Having never, ever practised together, they stormed into the lead after the sets and maintained the lead throughout.
Well done girls !!!!!
Grade 1 Cardiff 16-04-2005
Amy jumped brilliantly yet again, coming in equal 3rd place. However due to the tie break rules her 'official' position is 4th. She also gained another qualifying score to Grade 1 Nationals in July.
Well done Amy !!!
Grade 5 - 3 Gillingham 03-04-2005
An initial entry of 12, was dropped down to 8, mainly due to school holidays interfering with training.
Under 11 girls, nerves got the better of Alice, who had the 'crash' rule applied at the end of her set, however she jumped a brilliant vol.
Under 11 boys, Jamie and Liam in their first Grade 5. Both boys jumped good sets and vols without any errors.
Under 13 Girls, Jaime jumping in her first Grade 4 competition. Jaime did her best routine in competition for her set, scoring high 7's. Her vol went even better and she scored her personal best at a graded event.
Under 15 Girls Grade 5, Emily performed a brilliant set routine putting her into 6th position after the sets. Whilst competing her vol a loud screech across the hall put her off, although she managed to finish, her scores were not as good as she wished.
Under 15 Boys, David in Grade 3, unfortunately David got his set routine a bit confused and performed a pike back rather than a straight back, therefore his set scores were 0.0. He jumped well for his vol and even managed first place !!!
Lina in the Over 18 Grade 5, pulled out her best routines to date, managing to stay on the bed for set and vol !!!
Jenny in the over 18 Grade 4, rather wobbly, but considering she hasn't trained for months, due to being away at university, she did very well.
Grade 1 – Macclesfield 19-03-2005
Well done to Amy who jumped brilliantly at her second
GRADE 1 !!!!!!!!
Amy came in at 2nd place, she has now QUALIFIED FOR NATIONAL FINALS in July to be held at the Birmingham National Indoor Arena.
What a brilliant result and qualification for Amy
WELL DONE!!!
Grade 1 - Taunton 06-03-2005
Well done to Amy who jumped brilliantly at her first (and the club's) GRADE 1 !!!!!!!!
Amy came in at 6th place, she missed retaining by an incredible 0.3, but she is on top form for Macclesfield in 2 weeks time.
Grade 6 - Gillingham 27-02-2005
Wow what a day, snow, ice and sunshine !!!
Out of 20 entries, 16 made it throught the awful weather to the Rebound Centre.
Under 11 boys were on top form today, Jamie storming into first place after the sets, with his twin Liam in a credible 5th. The vols proved a point for Liam; moving up into a fantastic 3rd position. Jamie held onto his lead and both boys stood proudly on the podium (much to their Mum's relief!). With Jack making up the team, the boys got a second chance to show off their prizes as their team came 2nd.
Under 9 girls, a bit of a disasterous day for these young ladies, all trying so hard. Sophie and Keeley competing for the first time, Tilly with tap and ballet exams to do later in the day. Unfortunately it was not their day, the team coming in 6th place.
Under 11 girls, a very tough competition with so many at a similar ability level. Danielle jumped steadily providing her with a good 6th place, Esen a brilliant vol moving her into 9th place, with Rebecca a very close 11th place. Team got on the podium in 2nd place.
Under 13 girls, steady routines from all 4 team member, Sally and Chloe in their first competition, Elise completed her front SS safely and Laura proving how steadily she can perform.
Under 18 girls, no team here as 2 of the girls were unable to make it through the snow, Nichola and Katherine both competing for the first time produced beautiful routines placing them 5th and 7th respectively.
Over 18 Ladies, Belinda Crossley, once again pulling out the standard we have come to expect from her, a good 3rd place.
Well done guys, hope you all had fun, cos the coaches certainly did.
Zonal Schools - Taunton 23-01-2005
We took a number of members from Satellite Stars and other clubs along to the Zonal Schools Competition. Staying overnight in a bed and beakfast, we all had a wild time (ask the puddles !!)
Under 11 Girls Open - Amy Couchman, stunning the Grade 1 bouncers with her set warm-up, produced a steady set and a slightly shaky vol. This put her in a well deserved 6th position overall. Team members Elise, Gemma and Lauren all completing safe set routines, unfortunately Lauren had a wobbly time during her vol and after much bravery scored badly. This did not dishearten the team and they placed themselves in 4th position overall.
Under 13 Girls Closed - Emily and Amber produced their usual steady routines, along with Jessica and Hannah helping to put the team in 2nd place overall, giving their team a well deserved place at National Schools in March.
Under 19 Girls - Kelly Reeves, feeling very much under the weather strived on to place herself 7th overall, with Cara and Charlotte doing the team proud to a good 5th position overall.
We're going to WALES Girls !!!!
South East Grade 5 - 3 16-01-2005
We took 10 club members to the first Grade 5 - 3 competition of the year, many were competing in new grades or age groups.
Under 11 Girls, Alice in her first Grade 5 competition, her set didn't quite go to plan and was marked out of 8, however a remarkable routine for her vol scoring 7.5 left Alice in a fine 17th place.
Under 13 Girls, Jaime was gunning for a good result today. A stunning set, cut short by a leap forwards after the 10th skill left her touching the mat. 0.6 deduction from each judge put Jaime in 13th position. After a steady vol, Jaime pulled up to 9th position.
Under 15 Girls, Hannah, Iona and Emily all competing in this age group for the first time. Steady set routines from Hannah and Emily, Iona making a small error, leaving her marked out of 7. In the voluntaries Emily stayed steady finishing in a fabulous 15th position, Hannah had a little trouble and was marked out of 7, pushing her down to 30th position. Iona completed her voluntary routine with good form and finished in 31st place. There were lots of teams in this group with ours finishing a good 7th.
Under 15 Boys, David was in his first grade 3 competition. Training has been a bit disruptive recently for David and it showed in his routines today. However he managed a good 3rd position.
Under 18 Girls, Amy in her first ever graded competition. After a very nervous start showed excellent form and determination finishing in a good 9th place. Anna-Rose in her first Grade 4, pulled a back muscle in the warm-up, but showed true grit and completed her set and vol, unfortunately the judges didn't think her straight back was straight enough and she scored zero for her set.
Over 18 Ladies, Lina produced a steady set, unfortunately the pulled back muscle was to strike again and she only managed 2 moves in her vol. Cathy having been downgraded from Grade 2, produced 3 steady routines with the final scoring 8.3's she ended up in 5th position.
Competition Report 2004
South East Regional School 04-12-2004
We took several club members to the South East Schools Championships in Burgess Hill on Sunday 5th December.
After a very early start and a newly qualified Judge (Anna-Rose) loaded into the car we set off for the hour long journey. Arriving in plenty of time, the competitors (some of whom were competing for the first time) nervously began warming up.
Amy was one of the first to compete and took first place with an outstanding set routine scoring 25.6, all the others followed with many achieving their best scores to date.
After no major disasters, we qualified to the Zonal round 3 teams and 3 individuals. This event is to be held in Taunton, Somerset January 23rd 2005.
Amy and Kelly are both Regional Schools Champions for 2004!!!!
Well done girls
